BIRTH CERTIFICATES
Although this is a rule that has always
been in place, North Texas State Soccer Association is
requiring all local associations to have an official
certified birth certificate on file. Hospital style birth
certificate, the kind with the footprints, although cute,
can no longer be used. Unfortunately without a proper birth
certificate, we cannot register your child. If you are a
returning player, chances are we already have a copy on
file. Please do not be offended if we ask you for another
copy. With 2660 players, we try our very best, but every
once in a while one gets shredded. If you’re not sure we
have a copy, call our office and we’ll be glad to check.

MSA President Kevin Shelbune was honored at the West
Texas Sports Banquet and Memorabilia Auction on February
5, 2007, receiving the Scott Douglas Community
Achievement Award for his work coaching and promoting
youth and adult soccer in Midland.
