"BECOME A REFEREE"
MSA will be hosting a Referee Clinic on Saturday, August 15, 2015 9:00am to 6:00pm at the MSA office located at 3500 North A Street, Ste 2700, Midland, Texas. Please register online following the link below or go to www.ntxsoccer.org select the referee tab/become a referee/grade 8 basic clinic. This will take you to the registration page. Everyone MUST register online by creating a login account and selecting the Midland clinic. Cost is $80.00 and includes a free Referee Uniform kit for all Midland referees. Please complete the online portion of the course as instructed once you complete your registration.
Grade 8 Basic Referee Clinic Information:
Must be 13 years of age prior to the start of the clinic. No experience required, however playing experience is desired. Clinics are comprised of an on-line Session that must be completed prior to clinic attendance, 8 hours of classroom and field instruction, and a written exam requiring a score of at least 75. At the completion of the program you will register with North Texas and the United States Soccer Federation as a Grade 8 Referee. As a Grade 8 Referee you may referee recreational and competitive youth matches up to U16.
Grade 9 clinic are available on the North Texas website Instruction for registering are the same EXCEPT player can be 12 years old.
